Sonia Talwar sees the world through a geographer's eye and connects ideas, people, and actions through place and time. With over fifteen years of project management experience in the academic and public sectors, Sonia also offers strong facilitation skills, proposal development, and project initiation services. With a background in science and technology research, Sonia has extensive experience at contributing to scientific endeavours that are societally relevant such as climate change, sustainability, risk assessment and water resources management using evidence-based methods to support decision-making and priority setting. 

Sonia received her PhD from the University of British Columbia, her MSc in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Edinburgh and her undergraduate degree from McGill University.
